eighteen and counting

I'm technically twenty weeks tomorrow, so am obviously a bit behind on my bump posting BUT I wanted to share these because 18 weeks was pretty fun. I feel like I've finally got almost almost all of my energy back (short of feeling winded after long flights of stairs of course). We've been taking walks almost every day and doing lots of "nesting" related stuff at home. And also a lot of staring at little baby onesies and trying to picture the tiny person that will be filling them in such a short time. Getting closer to this halfway mark has made all of this seem a lot more "real".

Tyler tries every night to feel the baby kick which is just completely adorable. He gets so frustrated about it because I feel them so often. He's also pretty convinced now that we're having a boy because I ordered a cowboy burger at Applebees the other day. I told him he's silly. I'm just hungry. :)

I've also noticed that all of a sudden my taste buds seem totally out of whack. Mild things seem unbearably spicy and all I want are ice cream sandwiches and cookies and fizzy drinks because they taste so much sweeter. Its pretty weird. And throwing my cooking for a loop as well. I can add sugar to pretty much anything, but I don't.

Im still making it through my wardrobe okay....no maternity clothes yet, though I do have a few cute things set aside for the fall when I know Ill need them. So far though I'm just trying my best to be creative! Im excited for that stage as well, but enjoying my little bump for now. And trying not to bend over too often....Tyler says I officially have the "pregnant squat" and I swear he drops things just so I have to pick them up. Hah!

I think that about sums up our 18 and almost 19 weeks....Ill share more later! :)
