I did get caught up in baby's journal this week and wrote him a little letter about how happy I am he is a "he". I also successfully procured a Browns jersey onesie that matches one of Tyler's jerseys. That made up for the lack of meals cooked this week, I do believe. Too hot to use the oven!!! I also have picked out a few special things for this little guy's nursery and my mom and I started planning the shower! So fun!
Baby is about the size of a banana in these photos....and officially a whole entire pound! Which still doesn't add up when I think about the total weight gained and the actual amount of that which is actually the baby. Its really quite a mystery. Anyway, our little banana-sized baby really started wiggling and dancing in my belly right around week twenty and it's only continued! He was a good little companion during our camping trip last weekend, even if he danced all over my bladder, causing a lot of walks to the potty. Tyler can feel his little kicks and thumps pretty much every day now, which is just so thrilling. I love that the first thing he wants to do when he gets home from work is sit next to my belly and talk to the baby. Heart=melted.
And I think my biggest excitement was having my first baby discussion in the bathroom at a restaurant this past week, with a mommy to be that noticed I was pregnant and curious when I was due. Yay! Someone noticed! This little bump has seemed bigger on me than I think it actually looked the last few months so having a complete stranger ask and share in my excitement was super fun! She was having a boy too, so we talked about how awesome little boys are. It was the best bathroom conversation I've had in a long time. Honest to goodness.
At any rate, so far so good! I really am enjoying being pregnant and feel pretty good (second trimester, you are so wonderful). I could totally do this like a lot more times. Just sayin. Piece of cake;)
We have a graduation party for my little sister-in-law today and I have a photo session tomorrow so I'm thankful the weather has calmed down a bit and isn't quite so muggy/humid/hot. Hope you have a wonderfully cool weekend as well! <3
