I can't believe it. It's the last month of summer!
How did this happen?


These summer months have been way too busy for me....this one is going to fly by too, I know it. Birthdays, vacations, weddings and a new baby in our family (not mine, my sister in law's) will make this another crazy month full of happiness. I love it.

But still. 


We have so much to do around here before our little mister arrives. And a baby shower to plan. And a nursery to put together. And a million and one decisions to make regarding two million and one other small or big things. Ahhhhh! There is not enough time in the day for all that and an ice cream break let me tell you. And you can bet your behind the ice cream breaks win out over adult decision making type things. Every time. :)

It's not all babies over here either, I promise you that. Though he is quite a good little companion while I'm stressing over the results from Tyler's recent MRI for his back or wondering if really I should have painted our dining room white and if there is still time to do that. And read the stack of books that I've been meaning to.

We're going to the fair tonight, as a "date" because I probably won't see Tyler all weekend (I'm shooting two weddings). Im excited about the fair food, but more excited about some time just the two of us. Doing fun things like eating fair food. I'm also wondering if pregnant ladies are allowed on ferris wheels (the small kind). Guessing from Tyler's recent overprotective behavior regarding me and my belly, I'm guessing that'll be a "no", but maybe I can squeeze an extra bag of cotton candy out of him to make up for it! Here's hoping!

Oh August. Please don't go too fast.
