Ohhhh I'm pretty sure any day that involves home made whoopie pies (there is nothing better) is a good day.

((and while this post does, in fact, include photos of food....it is not about food. just so you know. i feel like i'm getting stuck in a food rut.....i won't lie. it's usually what i'm thinking about))

Anyhoo. Back to this awesome post I'm about to share with you.


We just celebrated our nephew's third birthday the other night and I realized when we got home that we are just days away from two weeks of celebrations (and by celebrations, i of course mean more reasons to eat food and birthday cake/cookies/ice cream/brownies).

This Sunday is my 28th birthday and I couldn't be more excited! I don't understand people who hesitate to share that it's their day, or don't want to celebrate....come on! I love birthdays. Always have. And not just my own. I was the little girl who tried to help everyone else open their presents. :)

So. Shortly following my birthday is Tylers. And then it's our four year wedding anniversary.

All sorts of fun reasons to eat cake.

I'm also excited to spend all day saturday and sunday with Tyler ((and the baby, he gets to come too!!)) I can't seem to think of anything to ask for for my birthday (much to Tyler's dismay) but I keep telling him.... I've got everything I want. Like the pair of polka dot shoes I plan to wear all weekend. 

Except for maybe an ice cream cake. That would be awesome.
