People keep asking me what our theme is for baby's nursery. Totally a legitimate question, with both of my showers right around the corner....except for the fact that we don't have one. I think that is okay, right? Right?! Ok.
I mean we just finally finished painting his room and that's the other question we get. What color!!! I try to respond first with "Oh! It's called Covered Wagon!", because, well that just sounds like an adventure. Then I have to explain that really it's just plain old oatmeal. Nothing too exciting actually...
BUT. I think it will be okay. Because I've found all sorts of special things to add to this little one's room and it will just be a hodge podge of cuteness and follow suit with the rest of my eclectic house. I guess. I may even put an owl in there or something. OR MY OWL LAMP. Okay. Yes so that is happening. Lightbulb!!!
First thing first. This is Mister Fox. He is one of the first things I found for baby, before I knew if baby was a boy or girl. I knew he would work with either. I have a strict five stuffed animals ONLY rule....which may actually be six at the moment, but with two dogs and a cat I just can't keep track of thirty two stuffed creatures that my animals won't be able to resist. And then Ill feel awful about their demise with their stuffing strewn across the floor and well, it just won't be happy for anyone. So five. Six tops. Mister Fox is numero one.
A few other pretty things I think I'll add to the nursery are below....but again, all up for debate and dependent on my mood at the moment. :) And of course there are things like a mobile over the crib I'm still debating on and the hamper I just bought in teal and gray. And a few other things I'd like to hang on the walls, including a silver letter for his name, just like ours. So yeah. We're almost there. Hah! :)

Mister Fox looks like a very sweet friend. I do not think you need a theme, and his room will be a very lovely place to live. All of your ideas are are really nice, but my favorite is the globe.
ReplyDeleteHello Mr. Fox, I think my baby would love you too. =) Oh and those rocking birds...LOVE!
