I'm kind of in love right now with Ellie Goulding's Anything Can Happen. I sing, baby wiggles and we try to get stuff done. He's going to have the best taste in music when he gets here.
I'm also trying to get through The Red Tent for our book club at the end of the month. Which has been a bit difficult since the first half thus far has been about birthing babies and midwifery, in biblical times. And I picked this one! Whoops. I also thought it might be fun to start Les Miserables in an effort to finish it before I see the movie (because I am going to have SO much time on my hands to read this 800 page book). As well as the typical young adult mythical creature love story romance Fallen. Just for fun. And kinda because I thought the cover was pretty. I'm ridiculous.
I have two more days of tutoring and then Ill be home, waiting for baby and getting our house ready. I am definitely ready as I am tired most mornings and it takes me a while to get going anywhere. Let alone get dressed. I'll miss working with them, but there are baby blankets that need knitted and baby clothes that need washed and some necessary mommy time as well. It'll be good.
Thank you for all the sweet comments on our maternity photos I posted yesterday. You guys are so sweet! <3
I think I'll hit repeat and then find something other than my pjs to wear for the day. Happy Wednesday!

The RED TENT is a rough read & has some rough spots. I really liked it because it made me think long after I was done reading it but it left me pretty tearful in the end. Hope you made it through it.
ReplyDeleteI love a good ol' YA superficial book. Fallen in a good one too- I just haven't been able to make it through the subsequent books in the series. The cover is BEAUTIFUL though. I think YA books have the prettiest covers- maybe to attact the easily distracted teens. Or easily distracted mama like me!
